Best Pizza in Barrio Logan, San Diego, CA

This place is absolutely incredible!!!! We have to go gluten-free, due to Celiac Disease and wheat / gluten allergies. I called ahead and they definitely know their stuff! They offered us a wonderful dining experience! The owner was incredibly knowledgeable about cross-contamination safety practices and guided us through each item. Nearly everything on the menu could safely be accommodated gluten-free. This is hands-down the best gluten-free dining experience we have ever had. We tried 3 different gluten-free pizzas, salad, and 2 different pastas. With each thing we tried, everyone in the party said it was the best thing they had ever tasted and it just kept getting better and better! Each item had an incredible blend of spices and flavors! We tried the Cochinita Pibil pizza, and I have never had anything like it before! It was SO good and even the kids liked it! The owner said they cook the meat for over 10 hours, until it is fall apart tender! It was stunning! We also had the Mediterranean Salad, 5 Cheese Pizza , Supreme Pizza, Alfredo, and the new Chicken Chipotle pasta!! Oh my goodness! Pretty sure I died and went to heaven!!!

This was the second time we went here and both of the times, it was GREAT. Their best dish is their Margherita pizza and another great thing is their customizable pizza because say you don't want a topping or a sauce and it's not even that expensive. Being vegetarians, we ordered a penne marinara and the past was good but the garlic bread was top tier. But the reason the food tasted good was because of the Mozzarella cheese because it almost tasted sweet and just had the best flavor the moment it hit your tongue (by the way that's from some people that don't usually like cheese). Overall, will definitely come here when I go to SD because it's cheap ($54 for 3 of us) and has the best pizza I have ever had.

I have eaten here twice in the past week. The first time I had the 10" Pesto Paradise pizza, and the second time, I had the 10" Five Cheese pizza. Let me start off with, I have eaten pizza in 10 different Countries and lived 10 years of my adult life in Connecticut (famous for New Haven style pizza and close enough to get the New York slice) if you don't know what I'm rambling on about Google search Dave Portnoy one slice. I am so glad that I gave Sorianos pizza a chance! The pizza crust is hearty and has a good "flop". It's strong enough to hold the toppings and not too thin that it's crunchy. The sauce is great and not overpowering. The toppings are good quality and the perfect ratio of toppings per bite. Some places have too many toppings, others too little, and Sorianos is just right. The cheese has great flavor and texture and lends to a nice cheese pull that gets you excited while grabbing a slice! The pizza is priced very well, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality pizza in the area.
